When I get it wrong, I fix it
I'm not an expert — just an ordinary person who lost money and then thought it through properly. Making mistakes is normal; hiding them is what isn't.
What's on this site is my personal experience plus data anyone can look up publicly. I check it as best I can, but there will inevitably be numbers I misremember, ideas I explain muddily, or places where I later realize the thinking itself was wrong. I don't want to pretend every line is correct — that would only make it less trustworthy.
Spot a problem, tell me
If you see something written wrong, a figure that doesn't add up, or logic that doesn't hold, please write in and set me straight: [email protected]. Even a typo or a mislabeled year — I want to know. The more specific you are, the faster I can pin it down and fix it.
How a fix gets handled
Once I've confirmed something is wrong, I'll fix it as soon as I can, and log below, by date, what was changed. Not quietly patching it and pretending nothing happened, but keeping an open record — so you can see how this site gets a little more accurate over time, and judge whether it's worth trusting.
